Nook vs Kindle Review
Choosing between a Nook and a Kindle 3 can be very difficult but once you start comparing reviews and features of each product, the Kindle 3 seems to have more to offer the consumer. It will also depend on what the consumer prefers but it seems many consumers desire the Kindle 3 over the Nook.
Nook or Kindle 3, which one to choose? That is a very good question! In fact many eReaders have difficulty in deciding which product will be best for them because they are both very high rated products. Before making a choice you should consider things such as price, features, benefits, negative aspects, and more.

When it comes to price, the Kindle 3 runs a bit cheaper and can be found for around $189 at Target or on Amazon, while the Nook costs around $199 and can be found at Best Buy or Barnes & Noble. Granted a $10 difference will not be a deal breaker but, price always matters and should be noted. Now let’s consider some commonalities that both the Kindle 3 and Nook have. First, they have the same screen, various devices can be used with both such as a Blackberry, Mac, iPhone, etc, and because of their light weight, it makes both of them easy to use with one hand. One difference to note is that the Kindle is thinner measuring .36″ while the Nook measure .5″. Again, not a deal breaker but can play a role in your decision.
Now we should consider additional features of the Nook which includes custom screen savers, great screen contrast, and 3 different fonts to choose from. Granted these options are fun to have but, when you consider all the Kindle has versus the Nook, your decision may change. The Kindle 3 actually has 6 options of fonts, a Read to Me Feature, supports audible audio books, offers a wider range of book selection, weighs less, offers free internet, includes an actual keyboard to take notes, has a rotating screen, and has more newspapers and magazines then the Nook has.
One important thing to note when comparing customer reviews between the Kindle 3 and the Nook, the Kindle has very few bugs where the Nook has several. Obviously bugs can be very frustrating and a great downfall. Users also point out how fast the Nook is, but when compared to the Kindle 3, it is not as fast.
There is no doubt that the Nook is a great item to own however, the facts speak for themselves and it seems that when put all together in one large comparison, the benefits, price, and features of the Kindle 3 win over the Nook. Keep in mind that technology is forever changing and in the future, different results may come about but for now, the Kindle 3 seems superior in the eReaders market.
